Petal power

The latest buzz around our store is about the Richard Schultz petal coffee we just put on the floor. This beautiful piece has been completely restored, with newly lacquered petals and a freshly powder coated base. The table is 42" in diameter and would look fantastic with a sectional sofa.

    1. You don't run across these every day, and our restorers did a beautiful job of making this one look like new.

    1. Someone was already interested in buying it before we even got it back from being restored, so I bet it goes fast.

  3. Oh lord. There's a smallish Schultz / Knoll Petal dining table (or at least the was, last time I was there) at an antique mall in the middle of Missouri. It was in Poor condition but Very expensive. I love the design but could not pry the greenbacks out of my pocket for the train wreck. I might have to check back again to see if it is still there...maybe they are more pliable with the pricing now!

    1. Yes, the things bring a pretty penny, that's for sure.

    1. What I like about Schultz is his originality. His designs were often somewhat of a departure from what others of his time were doing. We have some of his patio furniture that we're having restored, and I think people will really like it.

    1. We have several guys that we use for all our restoration, and they do a great job. In fact, we have some Schultz 1966 Collection patio furniture being done right now. I can't wait to see it!
